Handling Older Concrete the Right Way

Removing and replacing concrete on an established property is a different job to pouring on a bare block, and it's treated that way. Old slabs and driveways get properly broken out and cleared before any new formwork goes in, rather than a quick patch laid over ground that's already moved. Existing fences, gardens and access points on the property are worked around, not through.

That matters on a lot of Norlane's housing stock, where the original concrete has been down for decades and the ground underneath it has had time to settle. Getting the site prep and reinforcement right the second time round is what stops the same cracking happening again a few years later.
